“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” – Benjamin Franklin
In response to the results of the survey conducted regarding the difficulties encountered by the students at the onset of the implementation of the flexible learning mode, PSU-BC distributed 394 SIM cards to students in need, February 11, 2021.
The SIM cards have a 2-month worth of free cellular load. These cards are just a portion of the 2,000 SIM cards apportioned to all nine campuses of the PSU system.
Dr. Manolito C. Manuel, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Support Services, led the distribution of SIM cards to the campuses. Joining Dr. Manuel are Prof. Celeste T. Make-do, Director of Student Services and Alumni Affairs, and Ms. Je-Ann De Vera, Student Regent, at the T.N. Boquiren Convention Center, February 10.
Dr. Liza L. Quimson, Prof. Amela T. Cayabyab, Dr. Ramil L. Dacal, Dr. Luzviminda Q. Ramos, and Dr. Cielo C. Fernandez received the SIM Cards allocated to PSU Bayambang.
Prof. Amela T. Cayabyab, PSU-BC Student Services spearheaded the distribution of the SIM cards to PSU Bayambang students.
This is just one of the proofs of the university’s initiative to create solutions to problems being encountered during these trying times and to cater to the needs of its stakeholders especially its students.
