Following the standards set by the Commission on Higher Education, PSU IT Department assures that every student demonstrates global professional competence by building an internationally validated expertise in a specific area in IT and adapting to technological and societal changes through continuous professional development. The PSU IT program is currently on the process of re-aligning and restructuring its curriculum and instruction according to the standard set by the CHED. PSU guarantees that concepts and theories contained in the up-to-date learning resource materials are balanced by hands-on experience and expertise of its faculty. Together, proper direction and content are served to every student of the ITprogram who meets its standard.

Success requires form and substance. To PSU IT Department, this is a standard. From registration to graduation, the program is firm in its stance to nurture and develop its students in becoming highly principled, innovative and globally competent individuals capable of meeting the needs of industry, public service and civil society.

To uphold the character and the sense of professionalism as clear manifestations of the PSU Brand, PSU IT Program ensures the curriculum and instruction is up-to-date and is capable of meeting the changing environment.

PSU IT believes in the power of synergy and competition. The University commits its resources and expertise in producing graduates who do not only meet the expectations but even go beyond what is expected. The curriculum and instruction ensure that the IT program focuses on the delivery of a relevant, responsive, and effective education curriculum around which all other strands and offices provide support.

The effective curriculum and instruction of the program provides teachers, students, administrators and community stakeholders with a measurable plan and structure for delivering quality education.
