Buted challenges PSUnians: Make your dreams, successes mean something to others
“How will you make your dreams and successes mean something to others?” – Pangasinan State University (PSU) President, Dr. Dexter R. Buted pronounced the question before the students as a challenge in lieu of this year’s theme of Gawad Parangal, “PSUnians: Iskolar ng Bayan, Bayaning Milenyo at Tagasulong ng Pagbabago.”
Dr. Buted emphasized the challenge in his talk as he believes to students’ potentials and power to shape the future. Students should be seen as leaders who can contribute fresh ideas, take proactive measures, and become invaluable partners in the advancement of meaningful solutions, not only for the University but for the country as well.
He added, “The 3rd Gawad Parangal sa mga Natatanging Mag-aaral ng PSU is a testament to how good intentions will continue to flourish to serve its noble purpose – of acknowledging the importance of the youth’s participation with the affairs of the University, while pushing them to be at their best in all domains of their individuality.”
Moreover, he recognized the successes of PSU students in line of the Gawad Parangal, board exams, and competitions.
